Conditioning and Stretching Exercises

Here’s Barnie, about  to start his stretching and conditioning routine.  When I adopted my little guy, he was unable to use his left hind leg due to a femoral head fracture.  He is now doing wonderfully, however, I’m mindful that an injury like that could leave him vulnerable to arthritis in older age.  As a preventative measure, he gets a regular 15 minute massage and happily does his conditioning games to maintain a good range of motion in his joints.

Barnie enjoys his sessions, they keep his mind and body active and I know I’m doing all I can to avoid issues in his latter years.
